Terms and Conditions

1. Definitions

"We", "us" and "our" mean Sihatree, the online store on this website. "You" means the person placing an order or using the site. "Site" means this website in all its languages. "Order" means a purchase placed through the site.

2. Products

The products on this site are food products: Sihatree Arabic gum powder and the other products listed in the shop. Product photos are illustrations; the colour of a pack or powder may look slightly different on your screen.

3. Prices

Prices are shown in Malaysian Ringgit (MYR) for Malaysia and in US Dollars (USD) for other countries; you can switch the currency. Any tax is shown at checkout, and the shipping cost is shown before you pay. The price that applies to your order is the one shown when you place it. Wholesale prices are given by quote.

4. Orders

Placing an order is an offer to buy. We accept it when we send the order confirmation email. We may decline or cancel an order - for example because of a pricing error, a stock problem or suspected fraud - and in that case we refund what you paid in full.

5. Payment

Payment is taken when you place the order, through our payment providers (such as card payments by Stripe and PayPal). An order is prepared only after the payment has gone through.

6. Product availability

Products are available while stock lasts. If an item turns out to be unavailable after you have paid, we cancel that item and refund it.

7. Shipping

Destinations, shipping costs and delivery times are set out in our Shipping page.

8. International orders

Orders shipped outside Malaysia may be subject to customs duties, taxes or import charges in the destination country, which are the buyer's responsibility. You are responsible for making sure the products may be imported into your country.

9. Returns

Returns and refunds follow our Returns and refunds page. A damaged pack must be reported within 5 days of delivery.

10. Order cancellation

You can cancel an order before it is dispatched, as set out in our Cancellation Policy.

11. Product information

Sihatree is a food, not a medicine, and is not intended for the diagnosis, treatment or prevention of any disease. Nothing on this site is medical advice. If you have a health condition, are pregnant or breastfeeding, or take medication, speak to a health professional before adding a new fibre product to your diet.

The product is plant-derived and does not contain alcohol or ingredients of animal origin.

12. Intellectual property

The text, photos, videos, logos and designs on this site belong to us or to those who licensed them to us. You may not copy or reuse them without our written permission.

13. Use of the site

Use the site lawfully. Do not try to break its security, interfere with how it works, overload it with automated requests, or use someone else's account or payment details.

14. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability or right that cannot be limited under Malaysian law, including the Consumer Protection Act 1999. Otherwise, our liability for an order is limited to the amount you paid for it.

15. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia.
